Blood Oath
Okay, so I received this book as a goodreads first read winner back when I was pregnant and didn't have a chance to read it until just now. I'm glad I finally did!I thought the pace and format of the story was very interesting. I liked the strategic jumps in time-line and point of view. The narrative voice was consistent enough to make that work with little confusion.
While none of the characters are entirely fleshed out, there are just enough details provided and their voices are strong enough that I felt like I got a pretty good understanding of them and their motivations.
I'm looking forward to reading the next two installments.
