Crisis on Infinite Earths
This was certainly an interesting choice to introduce myself to the DC Universe in terms of comic books. I have seen movies and television series (both animated and not), but the bulk of my knowledge of DC comics comes from my husband and his long relationship with the Batman franchise. While I enjoyed the story-line, I'm missing a lot of the history that led up to it, and much of the back-story relating to the alternate universes. I got the feeling I would have gotten more out of it if I'd already been a fan than as a bit of a newbie.
